The Embassy of Cyprus is dedicated to promoting diplomatic relations, economic growth, and friendship between the Republic of Cyprus and the USA.

Our current U.S. Ambassador is Mr. Marios Lysiotis who was appointed as the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus in the United States in 2018. He previously served as Ambassador of Cyprus to France, Austria and as Permanent Representative to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg. Ambassador Lysiotis was born in 1958 and completed his studies in Philosophy and Political Sciences in France.
